The surface is hand worked, with visible tool marks, subtle faceting, and areas of controlled burning that deepen the grain and emphasise the timber’s natural movement. Cracks, growth rings, and variations in tone are embraced rather than concealed, making the material’s age and story an integral part of the sculpture.
Designed to be playful and robust. The frog is sized for children to climb on, sit astride, or use as a point of imaginative play, while remaining sculptural enough to sit quietly in a garden, partially hidden among grasses or foliage.
Supplied with steel rod anchors for secure installation. The sculpture can be bolted to a concrete slab, chem set into concrete, or concreted directly into the ground, making it suitable for private gardens, nature play spaces, or public landscapes.
