These balance logs are carved from solid Australian hardwood and designed for tactile, ground level play. Each log is shaped by hand, with visible tool marks, natural cracks, and grain variation left intact, allowing the timber to read as material rather than object.
The surfaces are worked with subtle burnt or painted markings, varied from piece to piece. Patterns may include flowing lines, dots, insect forms, or organic motifs, each applied in response to the timber itself rather than as a repeated graphic. No two logs are the same.
